"D'ÁGUA" - BARÚ
“D'água” is a salute to the waters of the world!
We wanted to translate into words the mosaic of the birth of a river that flows from one end to the other, managing lives and destinies.
Some say that the siren's song is an invitation to the bottom of the waters.

Buscamos traduzir em som a mágica da nascente de um rio que nasce gota a gota gerando vidas e lendas.
Há quem diga que o canto da sereia é um convite para o fundo das águas.

I was responsible for D'água's clothing and art direction. All developed using raw materials from the @quintadasnascentesoficial
Scientifically known as Brugmansia suaveolens, they were lovingly harvested by me and composed entirely in Iara's night clothes.
Various South American cultures use it, or have used it in ritual activities, as an entheogen. The plant is also used by some Amazonian tribes as an additive to increase the potency of ayahuasca.
All parts of Brugmansia plants are toxic to people and most invertebrates, with the seeds and leaves being particularly dangerous to humans.
